Born and bred in Canberra, Conor graduated from CIT in 2009 and has worked in the massage industry ever since - both as a therapist and as a teacher of the Diploma of Remedial Massage. With well over a decade of experience in both teaching and massaging, he brings a great deal of knowledge to the role, and enjoys nothing more than sharing this knowledge and experience.

Conor always had a passion for teaching which was first honed as a martial arts instructor, then as a teacher at CIT. He finds great satisfaction in helping people learn new things, and this ties in very well with massage - which provides a platform for clients to learn about their own body. He finds the challenge of the human body invigorating - no client is the same, and no treatment should be either.

Conor treats in line with his passions of health and education. All treatments will have an assessment stage to gather information and develop a treatment plan most suited to reaching the clients' goals. He works on the premise that massage helps the body to heal, not that healing can be forced on the body - as such, he tries to avoid painful treatments, and marries together both high level remedial techniques and relaxation massage into a highly holistic treatment.

Treatments will include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, relaxation techniques, advanced stretching, muscle activation and many more - though the main emphasis is on client education. If a client can understand how their body works and what has led to an injury, then the path to healing becomes a lot simpler and easier to reach.

Outside of the clinic and the classroom, Conor spends as much time as he can with his wife and two young boys. He still practices Tae Kwon-Do (as do the whole family!) and enjoys the rare quiet moment in a sunny spot of the garden. If there's any time left after all that, you can probably find him exploring the universe and challenging dragons to duels in an assortment of video games.
