Ruby completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. She has worked in a number of different massage environments including Aged Care, Private Clinical practice and corporate. 

Ruby had always had a passion for the human body, learning all of the systems and how they work. That passion has grown into an interest in how and why the human body doesn’t always work the way it is expected to. The choice of massage was impulsive but it remains one of the best choices she has ever made. 

When it comes to treatment Ruby tends to lean towards working on layers rather than pain. This doesn’t mean that her treatments can’t hurt but the discomfort tends to be very purposeful. The aim, even with lighter styles of treatment, is to make firm contact and then put pressure in as needed. Ruby will always tailor treatments to what the clients need. 

When not working Ruby is continuing to add to her list of skills. She also does exercise like pilates, pole dancing, running and biking. She also enjoys Dungeons and Dragons and loves a good book (or a good-bad one), drinking tea and cooking.
